Asia Pacific CCUS Conference and Exhibition
26–27 August 2025 | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Dear Industry Colleagues,

We are thrilled to announce the Asia Pacific CCUS Conference and Exhibition (APCC) 2025 will take place from 26–27 August 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event represents the culmination of various SPE workshops and symposia held over the past decade, making it the pivotal platform for advancing the region's pursuit of cutting-edge CCS/CCUS technologies, commercial objectives and hub ambitions.

CCS/CCUS technologies have emerged as critical solutions for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, particularly in the rapidly industrialising and urbanising Asia Pacific region. However, several challenges impede the widespread adoption of these technologies. One major obstacle is the high upfront costs of implementing CCS/CCUS infrastructure, which includes capture technologies and storage facilities. Additionally, regulatory frameworks governing CCS/CCUS projects vary across countries, posing legal and financial uncertainties for investors and project developers. APCC 2025 acknowledges these obstacles and aims to provide a platform for the community to exchange knowledge, foster collaborative partnerships, and function as a catalyst for the region’s ongoing efforts in implementing scalable CCS/CCUS technologies to meet economic and climate goals.

Themed “Commitment to Action: Unlocking the Full Potential of CCUS”, the conference programme will encompass the entire CCS/CCUS value chain, addressing efforts and solutions across industries. Emphasis will be placed on both upstream and midstream sectors, tackling challenges involved in developing capture sites, establishing efficient transportation and pipeline infrastructure, designing hubs, and creating networks for the effective deployment of CCS/CCUS.
Exhibition at the APCC 2025 features companies and service providers showcasing their latest technologies and capabilities, demonstrating the industry’s dedication to adopting technological advancements and scalable solutions with a focus on sustainability and emissions reduction.

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we invite you to showcase your ideas and innovations at the leading CCUS event by submitting a paper proposal that highlights your learnings, experiences, and insights. The deadline for abstract submissions is 1 November 2024.

We thank you in advance for your support of the 2025 conference. We look forward to welcoming you to Kuala Lumpur and to APCC 2025!
