APOGCE (“Event”) is organised by Society of Petroleum Engineers (“Event Organiser” or “SPE”) and provides an industry platform for participants to undertake legitimate business activities and to promote knowledge transfer and technology sharing in an educational learning environment.
The Event adheres to SPE’s Event Code of Conduct (“Code of Conduct”). At SPE events, industry professionals come together from across the globe to discuss technical innovations and advancements in the energy sector, and to network with one another. SPE values the participation of all industry professionals at this Event, and seeks to provide them with a respectful, harassment-free and inclusive environment for all, regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, ancestry, citizenship status, age, gender, sexual orientation, and others. At the same time, all participants are expected to be respectful and courteous to others throughout the Event.
By attending and participating in this Event, you agree that you have read and will follow the Code of Conduct. Defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials and/or language are strictly prohibited.
The Organiser takes the position that anyone with a legitimate reason to attend the Event should not disrupt or negatively impact upon others. Should this happen, the Organiser will take steps to prevent the continuation of any such actions.
The Organiser reserves the right to exclude or remove anyone from the Event who does not comply with this Event Statement and the Code of Conduct or who it reasonably considers is likely to break the Code of Conduct or who is prohibited from attending under any applicable sanctions, laws or regulations, or otherwise at the Organiser’s sole discretion. Should any protest be considered to be disruptive in the reasonable opinion of the Organiser, then the Organiser reserves the right to respond in the appropriate manner as set out in this Event Statement & Code of Conduct.
