China National Logging Corporation (CNLC) was founded in 1995 as a professional well logging and well testing service company. CNLC integrates basic theoretical logging studies into equipment R&D and manufacturing, borehole technical services, and integrated oil-reservoir studies and its business covers the whole life cycle of the oil and gas industries, involving exploration, utilization, production and solutions for geological engineering.

CNLC owns 958 sets of various types of professional equipment, has 774 specialized teams (including 113 overseas teams), and 12,000 employees (including 1,500 international employees), and is capable of performing logging operations more than 100,000 wells per year.

CNLC has the capacity to produce 30 sets of wireline logging equipment and 10 sets of Logging While Drilling equipment a year. The company has constructed the first ever fully automated cone-producing and pressing lines of shaped charges for perforation in China, with an annual output of 2,300,000 perforating bullets and 350,000 meters of perforating guns. Those products are exported to 22 countries.

Since its establishment, CNLC has not only been providing integrated well-bore services to China's petroleum industry, but has also progressively developed into a service Company of international standing, having extended its business operations in more than 19 countries.
