Farhan Al-Farhan was appointed Regional Manager for Global Operation for Canada and Australia in 2023 for Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (“KUFPEC”), the international upstream subsidiary of State-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (“KPC”).

Prior to his appointment as the regional manager for Canada and Australia, Farhan held many leadership positions across the globe which include Director and Country Manager for Canada, Exploration, Corporate Planning, and Asset Management for Europe & Africa.

Farhan has had worldwide experience in countries such as, but not limited to, Norway, U.K., Australia, Kuwait, Pakistan, Egypt, Yemen, and Canada.

Prior to KUFPEC, Farhan worked in SLB working across various business lines and holding various technical, training, and leadership roles on a projects and fields from around the world.

Farhan holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University. Farhan Al-Farhan is an active member of SPE and has chaired committees and authored numerous technical papers.
