Shannon Slocum serves as president, Eastern Hemisphere, and is a member of the Halliburton Executive Committee. He previously served as senior vice president of Global Business Development and Marketing and senior vice president for the Eurasia, Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa Region.
Mr. Slocum joined Halliburton in 2005 as senior manager of Innovation and Marketing. He has served as director of Technology Operations for Landmark and on the Landmark Global Account team for the BP account. Other roles include director of Customer Financial Services, manager of the Caspian West Area, manager of Business Development in Indonesia, and vice president in Indonesia. He also served as vice president of the Cementing product service line.

Mr. Slocum holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Lamar University in Texas. He has completed levels II and III of Halliburton Business Leadership Development and is a 2014 graduate of the Halliburton President’s Leadership Excellence Program. In 2012, Mr. Slocum was named Eastern Hemisphere Country Manager of the Year for his outstanding work in Azerbaijan. In 2023, he received the Big Red Award, which is given by the CEO to recognize the company’s outstanding leader.
