Arijit Paul is the Director of HSE Practices at SLB’s corporate headquarters. With 25 years of industry experience, Arijit’s expertise spans multiple businesses and functions, including wireline, reservoir performance, midstream processing systems & production facilities, integrated project management, supply chain, assets & CAPEX management, and downstream operations. His various leadership roles spanned field operations, line management, service delivery, business development, sales & marketing, procurement & sourcing, integrated services, operations system & integrity, strategy, transformation, and global account management. These have taken him across the US, Canada, Central Asia & Caspian, India and the UK.

Arijit currently heads SLB’s management system and practices in health, safety, security & environment (HSE), leading a team of global subject matter authorities. His central role ties into the company’s sustainability, environmental, social & governance (ESG), corporate social responsibility (CSR), community relations, risk management, continuous improvement, training, knowledge management, digital & Artificial Intelligence (AI), and human performance initiatives.

Arijit holds an MBA, a Masters in management from Heriot-Watt University, UK, and a Bachelors in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, India. He is also an executive alumni of Harvard National Preparedness Leadership Initiative (NPLI), UC Berkeley, and Oxford University. Arijit is a certified professional and Fellow with the Energy Institute, and various engineering and project management organization worldwide. He has multiple industry publications, and is associated with several earnings press releases for successful projects globally. Within SLB, Arijit has been the recipient of numerous global awards, and is recognized as a senior technical expert.
