Thomas Hinterseer is currently the Managing Director and President of the Board of CEDEP. He also runs leadership and safety seminars and workshops internationally. 

Thomas obtained his law degree in Austria in 1987, and a masters in law from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, European Community Law section. Over his 25 years caereer in the Oil and Gas Business he held various Senior Maaagment positions in Slb and Transoceean .Thomas was involved from the broader HR perspective in the follow-up of the Macondo accident in the Gulf of Mexico.

In 2016 Thomas has initiated the transformation of CEDEP via a major reorganisation of its overall governance, the sale of the campus , the acquisition of two companies and the creation of a dedicated International Institute of Leadership and Safety.
