Hideharu Yonebayashi is a Distinguished Engineer at JODCO with over 30 years experience of assignments in INPEX, Bunduq Company, and ExxonMobil Development Company. He holds a PhD degree in petroleum engineering, authored or coauthored over 60 technical papers. He serves as a SPE Distinguished Lecturer in 2021-2022, SPE Japan Director since 2015, and JPT Editorial Review Board in 2025-26. He received the Energy Awards from 2023 MESO GEO and 2024 SPE OPES for the Nano-Chemical Water Shut-off Technology.
