Martin LANTOINE has over 20 years’ experience experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, the majority being for Beicip-Franlab (IFP Group).

His experience covers all type of fields studies, from specialized simulation studies to Field Development Plan, with a specific focus on EOR techniques and solutions, and energy transition projects (geothermal, CCUS). This experience was used in studying very various fields: in Middle East, North Africa, Russia, Asia, and South America; for heavy, light and condensate fields; for sandstone and carbonate fields, for green to very mature fields.

He obtained a MEng in Reservoir Engineering from National Superior School of Geology (Nancy, France) in 2004. Since then, after having held several manager positions for the last 10 years (EOR Manager for 9 years and Energy Transition Business Manager for 2 years), Martin is currently working in Abu Dhabi as Middle East Technical Head for IFP Middle East Consulting (Beicip-Franlab’s affiliate for Middle East).
