Audrey Rasmussen
Audrey Rasmussen is a seasoned professional with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and over 21 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specializing in the exploration, appraisal, and development of unconventional resources. Audrey has had a distinguished career with leading companies, including BP,Apache, and PETRONAS, where she contributed significantly to the appraisal of world-class unconventional basins such as the Horn River, Liard, Duvernay and Montney.
In 2018, Audrey joined PETRONAS Canada as Manager of Engineering within the newly-formed Unconventional Centre of Excellence (UCOE), where she played a key role in establishing the Centre, shaping its strategic direction, and enhancing its reputation for delivering high-impact technical solutions. Over the past four years, she has held various leadership roles within the Montney asset, cultivating a culture of technical innovation and operational excellence.
Currently, Audrey serves as the Head of the Unconventional Centre of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur, where she continues to drive technical excellence and business performance across PETRONAS’s global unconventional portfolio. Audrey is also an active volunteer with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), serving as a Director on the SPE Canada Board of Directors, where she contributes to advancing the profession and fostering collaboration within the energy sector.
