Rex Richard
Rex Richard is a senior completions engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton, the world’s largest independent petroleum consulting firm.
Mr. Richard began his career with Halliburton in 2008 as a field engineer specializing in hydraulic fracturing operations throughout the United States, Canada, and Oman. In 2013 he joined Chesapeake Energy, serving as a completions engineer for the company’s unconventional assets in the Eagle Ford Shale, Powder River Basin, and Haynesville Shale. As a consultant with D&M since 2021, he has provided hydraulic fracturing design, analysis, and operational support for clients throughout the world, primarily in North America, the Middle East, and China.
Mr. Richard holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
