CO2 Sequestration

Thursday, 10 April
Grand Hall B
Technical Session
Geological storage of CO2 is expected to play a major role in mitigating the effects of rising CO2 emissions. This session will include several papers on mineralization in reactive rock formations as well as studies that address salt crystallization during CO2 injection. Further, new surfactants derived from CO2 as well as alternative eco-friendly chelants will be discussed.
