Dear Colleagues,
The current state of oilfield chemical applications presents an evolving technical landscape that calls for a renewed spirit of innovation. Chemical solutions in some upstream applications are being rationalized into minimalistic systems, while other applications are challenged by either extreme conditions (ultra-HPHT) or unique downhole applications (hydrogen storage). Oilfield chemists, engineers, geochemists, and engineers have sharpened their technical tools and are poised to develop superior solutions for these challenges.
The 2025 SPE International Conference on Oilfield Chemistry is the leading industry venue for oilfield chemical professionals. Many opportunities are provided to present innovations and research for the current industry challenges and to learn from and network with the technical leaders in this area. Having just celebrated the 50-year anniversary, the 2025 International Conference on Oilfield Chemistry shows an industry poised for another 50 years of innovation and cutting-edge research. Expanding on the momentum of previous events, the 2025 conference seeks abstract from many sub-disciplines including new energy topics (like geothermal, CO2/H2 storage); sustainability; chemical methods for improved recovery; and additional applications of drilling/completing/cementing/production.
The 2025 SPE International Conference on Oilfield Chemistry Program Committee invites paper proposals showcasing your latest technology advancements and findings and looks forward to your participation.
Sincerely,
