Guillaume Verhaeghe holds a French Engineering degree from Ecole Polytech Lyon in France and a master’s degree from Tulane University in the USA. After 2 years of Subsea Engineering for Technip in Aberdeen, he joined SLB in 2000 with positions ranging from Wireline operations, management and engineering and later marketing and strategy, across Africa, Americas, Europe, and Middle East.  Guillaume is now the New Energy Director for MENA, involved in various projects related to decarbonization, geothermal, energy storage, lithium extraction, carbon capture and storage.
