Dr. Imran Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Sultan Qaboos University, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Big Data, and Machine Learning. He holds a PhD from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he was awarded a prestigious government scholarship. His research focuses on leveraging electricity consumption data for smart grid optimization, using AI-driven analytics to enhance energy efficiency and distribution. He has led several funded research projects at Sultan Qaboos University and the Ningbo Research Institute, China, and has made significant contributions to high-impact, top-tier journals.
