Matt De Grove has been with bp for 25 years and currently leads external financing and M&A support in the EMEA region from bp’s treasury team. He focuses on bp’s transition growth engines, collaborating closely with bp’s solar, offshore wind, hydrogen/CCS, biofuels, and EV charging businesses to develop funding solutions. Matt and his team recently led the £8bn financing of a first-of-a-kind clean gas-fired power plant and carbon capture project in the UK. Other recent transactions include equity and debt growth capital for bp’s solar business and a hybrid financing of for bp’s West African LNG business.
