Nopasit Chaiwanakupt is an Executive Vice President of Technology, Carbon Solutions, and Sustainable Growth Group at PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP). Under this role, he oversees PTTEP’s corporate sustainability policies and strategies, as well as technology development and business expansion into low-carbon energy and decarbonization solutions sectors. Nopasit started his career with Unocal Thailand in 1990, as a Production Engineer, and had been involved in several upstream development projects and producing assets in Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Vietnam, before joining PTT Group in 2009. He held various leadership positions with PTT International Company and PTTEP, in the areas of upstream asset management (Thailand Offshore Assets and International Assets) and business development (Indochina and Middle East Regions). Nopasit holds a master’s in chemical engineering from Oregon State University and an MBA from Sasin Business School in Thailand.
