Roberto Lorato has gained extensive experience in the international O&G industry over 30 years, spanning various roles, from project economics to business development to general management, in Italy, Russia, Central Asia, the UK, and SE Asia. Since joining MedcoEnergi, a leading Southeast Asia energy and natural resources company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (MEDC-IDX) as Director and CEO in November 2015, Roberto has overseen a phase of strategic repositioning and growth. The company has greatly expanded its O&G and Power generation activities, including through investments in renewable energy. Born in Italy, Roberto obtained a Master from London Business School, a degree in Energy Economics from Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Padova.
