Sami Baqi Al Lawati is currently the Executive Technical Director at PDO. He is responsible for all technical functions in the Company which includes Well Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Engineering and Operations.  Sami is also accountable for setting the Company’s future strategy to develop and mature PDO’s hydrocarbon reserves with reduced carbon footprint and driving operational efficiencies across functions. In a career spanning almost 35 years, Sami has led multi billion Projects, held key roles like Infrastructure Director and Oil South Director.  Sami is a graduate of University of Cambridge with two Master degrees.
