On behalf of SPE and the Conference Program Committee, we are pleased to invite submissions for the SPE Permian Basin Energy Conference, to be held 18–20 November 2025 in Midland, Texas, USA.
This conference serves as a premier platform for technical knowledge-sharing and the exchange of operational best practices aimed at optimizing well development and performance in the Permian Basin. The conference will feature operator-led case studies, field-proven technologies, and innovative research and development which address:
- Enhancing well productivity and hydrocarbon recovery
- Optimizing capital efficiency through well design and operational best practices
- Maximizing oil recovery throughout the lifecycle of drilling, completion, and production
- Advancing responsible operations and sharing ESG best practices
- Scaling field-wide development and accelerating technology deployment
This year, the conference will also highlight emerging industry trends and global energy needs — particularly focusing on low-carbon solutions, water management, field development and well operations in unconventional reservoirs, and the role of technology in oil & gas development. With a strong emphasis on field-proven results and operator insights, the technical program will prioritize operator-led presentations and operator-centric case studies.
