Abdulaziz Al Tubayyeb is the Manager of Carbon Capture and Sequestration Division within Petroleum Engineering in Saudi Aramco. In his current capacity, Abdulaziz leads the formulation of subsurface development strategies for CO2 sinks, to ensure meeting the Kingdom’s 2060 net-zero targets. Throughout his 15 years with Saudi Aramco, Abdulaziz led numerous teams in designing development, production, and surveillance strategies for some of the Kingdom’s major oil fields. He holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
