Dr. Feras Rowaihy serves as the Head of Long-Range Reservoir Technical Studies Unit at Saudi Aramco. As an expert in energy transition and decarbonization, he specializes in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies. His doctoral research at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) focused on assessing CO₂ emissions, storage, and costs to support the decarbonization of Saudi Arabia's industrial sectors. Dr. Rowaihy applies his expertise to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for large-scale carbon management, driving policy influence, technological advancements, and reduced carbon footprints across key global industries.
