Mohamed Lamine Selmane
Lamine is the regional Energy expert leading the Global Energy practice at Dell Technologies for Middle East and Africa region.
He joined EMC in 2014, before the merge with Dell in 2016. He is responsible for the development and deployment of digital solutions and services that drive business outcomes for the entire energy value chain
Thorough his 20 years career in the oil and gas and utilities industries, he has been working on the fields of Data management, Smart Fields, Grid Automation, OT Cybersecurity, Industrial IoT, AI and Cloud
As part of this job, Lamine has been developing an industry eco-system of partnerships with engineering software vendors, OT suppliers and System Integrators to identify and develop innovative joint digital solutions. He’s also contributing to Dell’s efforts to actively participate in industry consortia such as Open Group, Linux Foundation…
Lamine is directly involved in Dell’s efforts to help the industry execute its Energy Transition with impactful deployment of IT and digitalization across the entire value chain, and along a pathway to a low carbon future. He has also interest in Green Sovereign Data Centers
Prior to Dell – Lamine accumulated 8 years of experience with Schlumberger (now SLB), delivering oil and gas upstream information solutions for national and independent oil companies in North Africa region. He was also involved in transformational engagements in areas of business intelligence and knowledge management.
Lamine has Computer Science Engineering degree from the National Institute of Computer Science in his home country Algeria
