Shadi Al Adel is the director of the Carbon Capture & Sequestration department, under New Energies with more than 24 years of technical and leadership experience with Saudi Aramco. Shadi holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and a Masters of Chemical Engineering from McGill University, Canada. Shadi completed the Specialist Development Program in Gas Processing in 2015 and has held several leadership positions within different organizations in Aramco. He was the Technical Committee Chairman of the Gas Processors Association-GCC Chapter for about 10 years. Currently, Shadi is leading a major decarbonization investment and project for Carbon Capture and Storage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
