Thank You to the Sponsors
In the two years since this symposium last took place, there has been significant evolution of the state-of-the-art; whereby non-metallic pipelines, linings, facilities and storage systems, offshore structures and repair systems have become deployed in mainstream operations and new developments and products continue to emerge—which harness the unique advantages including light weight, corrosion resistance and flexibility of thermoplastics, thermosets and composite materials.
The objective of this symposium is to build communal knowledge and add assurance to contractors, operators and designers of energy systems, that the effective deployment of non-metallic solutions is both safe and advantageous. The symposium will create a platform for all stakeholders including subject matter experts, manufacturers, and operators to discuss the latest technological developments, challenges, and future ambitions.

Non-metallic materials play a critical role in shaping the future energy infrastructure. Participating in the SPE Symposium on Non-metallics is crucial for advancing the industry’s knowledge and application of these cutting-edge materials. This event provides a valuable platform for collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of ideas that drive progress in non-metallic technologies. We are excited to be part of a gathering that not only highlights the latest advancements but also fosters partnerships that pave the way for a more sustainable and efficient future. We look forward to contributing to the collective knowledge and innovation that this symposium represents.

The benefit of the last conference was the openness of the oil and gas operators presenting their issues in the industry and stimulating discussions, so manufacturers of products can develop the solutions at lower costs in the oil and gas industry.
Attending This Symposium Supports The E&P Industry
The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a not-for-profit organisation. Income from this event will be invested back into SPE to support many other Society programmes.
When you attend an SPE event, you help provide even more opportunities for industry professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence. Scholarships, certification, the Distinguished Lecturer programme, and SPE’s energy education programme Energy4me® are just a few examples of programmes supported by SPE.
