BIO 

Ashwani Kumar Lata is a Metallurgical Engineer by training with 27 years of work experience in various upstream domains, such as surface facilities including water cut meters & multiphase flow metering, Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) material selection and nonmetallics. He works for MaxTube Middle East as sales Manager — Saudi Arabia & Bahrain — promoting his company’s fiberglass (GRE) lining services for downhole tubing for corrosion protection. Ashwani’ s expertise involves making recommendations to his customers when to use nonmetallics based on technical suitability and commercial attractiveness, along with helping to modify completions to suit the GRE lining. 

Ashwani is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and has coauthored two papers on GRE lined completions for production and injection applications. 

He received his B.Eng. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from MNIT,  Jaipur , Rajasthan, India.
