Ayman Amer has recently joined Khalifa University as the ADNOC/KU Program Manager overseeing all R&D collaboration projects funded by ADNOC.

With a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), he has over 12 years of experience in Saudi Aramco R&D center at KAUST. As a PMP certified professional, he has led several projects focused on digital transformation with specialization in robotics, sensing, automation and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) applications across the energy sector.

Ayman is an inventor/co-inventor in 30+ granted patents in robotics applications in various upstream applications. He has received many awards including the Saudi Aramco CEO Recognition for Excellence in 2014 & 2017, ADIPEC award for Breakthrough Research of the Year in 2018 and the IFIA Industrial Glory Medal in 2019.
