Carlos is a Materials Engineer with a PhD in Polymeric Materials from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain, and has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. During his career, he has been focused on reinforced thermoplastic pipes, elastomers, and coatings performance at high temperatures. Currently, He is the Principal Non-Metallics Engineer for the ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering Company and serves as a chairman of several Industry technical committees such as AMPP SC04, API SC 15, and the IOGP Non-Metallics Expert Group.
