Optimizing Technology

Wednesday, 14 August
Grand Ballroom AB
Technical and Invited Presenter
Interventions have been undertaken using riser and riserless subsea well access methods for decades.  As such these methods could be considered as being established and mature technologies.  This level of acceptance gives rise to the conditions that allow for them to be optimized by improving connections, control, communication with the aim of increasing efficiency.  Optimization of operations and delivery time can also be achieved by utilizing established methods.  This session presents some optimizations that have been achieved and, hopefully, will inspire attendees to find other opportunities.
