Miguel Gonzalez leads Halliburton's Multi-Chem product service line, which serves production, midstream, downstream and heavy industrial operations with specialty chemicals and services. He is responsible for the operational, technological and strategic direction and management of Multi-Chem. Before taking on the Multi-Chem Vice President position in 2021, Miguel served in several leadership positions with Halliburton's Baroid product service line, which serves the drilling fluids, completions, fluids, and waste management services, some of the roles included: Brazil Country Operations Manager, Latin America Regional Manager, Global BD and Marketing Manager, MENA and Asia Pacific Regional Manager, and Product Line Global Operations Manager. Gonzalez has more than 25 years in the Oil and Gas industry, and worked in over 40 countries during his career; started with Halliburton in 2011 after more than ten years with a major service provider in engineering and leadership roles for the drilling & Completion fluids market. Gonzalez earned a chemical engineering degree from the Universidad Rafael Urdaneta in Venezuela and an MBA in Oil and Gas Executive Development from the Universidad Federal Fluminense in Brazil. He also holds Digital Electronic Technician certification from the Polit'cnico Alejandro De Humbolt.
