Javier is the Global Petroleum Engineering Manager, a position he has held his 2021. He is responsible for driving technical excellence and business outcome, as well as career development and individual performance. Javier has over 24 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has a strong subsurface background acquired through numerous assignments in Reservoir & Petroleum Engineering, Field Development, Well Completion & Intervention and Project Management. He joined bp in 2012. Prior to bp Javier worked for SLB. He has been fortunate enough to live and work in Texas, Alaska, Malaysia, France, Colombia and Mexico.
