Beyond Reach: Advanced Applications in Horizontal and Multilateral Wells

Tuesday, 25 March
Waterway 1-3
Technical Session
As the industry moves towards minimizing it’s carbon footprint while maximizing the production from reservoirs, horizontal completions are becoming more common. Extended-reach intervention challenges are required to be met and push the limits to be able to accomplish the desired requirements. The question is: how far can we go in lateral wells technology, whether in length, numbers, or shape? What are the limits in horizontal completions? This session will highlight challenges, offer solutions, and open new opportunities for development.
