Starting in 1998, the author moved from academia to becoming a Senior Seismic Positioning Engineer at Schlumberger in Norway, which led to roles of increasing responsibility. By 2005, the author ascended to Regional Technical Sales Manager at Tenaris-Hydril, focusing on technical support and market penetration in North Africa.
