He has over 30 years of experience in exploration and development geology. He worked for different oil companies in and outside Egypt at different positions, including Gupco (1977-1998), Seagull Egypt (1998 – 1999), Apache (1999-2006), Kufpec “Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co, Kuwait” (2006 – 2007), Petro South Africa (2007-2010), Sahara Oil & Gas “SOG” (Feb.- Dec. 2010), Aminex Petroleum Ltd, Egypt (2010 –2012), Sonangol, Angola (2012-2016), Cheiron Petroleum (2018-2020) and Dublin Energy (2020-Present).

As an author and co-author, he published more than ten technical papers in international conferences, in and outside Egypt, illustrating new ideas and thoughts for oil exploration.

Finally, Dr. Salah has participated in Quantifiable and recognized track record in successful oil discoveries in Egypt.
