Educational Programmes
The following educational programmes will be held in-conjunction with APOGCE 2025:
1. Regional Student Paper Contest (Tuesday, 14 October 2025)
Regional undergraduate and postgraduate students are shortlisted to compete at this exciting event for the opportunity to secure SPE-sponsored participation at the 2026 International Student Paper Contest at SPE’s Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) in Houston, Texas, USA.
2. Energy4Me Teachers’ and Education Day (Wednesday, 15 October 2025)
Energy4Me is an initiative to share fresh energy education teaching and learning methodologies with local high school teachers. Local high school students are introduced to the discipline of petroleum engineering and the industry through hands-on activities and meaningful sharing sessions by industry leaders and young professionals.
3. Student Attendance Programme
This programme sponsors university students’ complimentary registration to APOGCE 2025. It provides an invaluable opportunity for them to gain insights into the industry, network with professionals, and participate in conference sessions, thereby fostering the next generation of energy leaders.
Each co-sponsor will receive:
