Vienna experiences pleasant summer weather in June, with average temperatures ranging from 15°C (59°F) at night to 25°C (77°F) during the day. Days are generally warm and sunny, though occasional rain showers can occur. It’s a great time to explore the city’s outdoor attractions, gardens, and open-air events. Light clothing, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket for cooler evenings are recommended.

The Wiener Linien operates most of these services, offering convenient access to various parts of the city. Tickets are integrated into the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR) system, allowing seamless travel across different modes of transport. For travelers arriving by air, the City Airport Train (CAT) provides a direct link from Vienna International Airport to the city center (Wien Mitte station) in just 16 minutes. Alternatively, ÖBB Railjet trains offer connections to Wien Hauptbahnhof (main railway station).
