On behalf of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Conference Committees, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2025 SPE International Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition (IHFTC). The event will take place from 23–25 September 2025, in Muscat, Oman.
Hydraulic fracturing technology has played a pivotal role in advancing the economic development of both conventional and unconventional resources, establishing itself as a crucial element in the global energy landscape. Recent technological advancements have significantly enhanced the efficiency and sustainability of hydraulic fracturing, enabling competitive production methods that contribute to a more affordable and reliable energy supply. These innovations have also been instrumental in reducing development costs and minimizing carbon footprints.
The theme for the 2025 IHFTC, “Fracturing for a Resilient Energy Future—Innovation, Sustainability, and Global Collaboration” will focus on the latest developments in hydraulic fracturing technologies and methodologies. The conference will explore how these advancements are driving sustainable growth in the oil and gas sector and how they can help achieve a more resilient, cost-effective, and low-carbon energy future. Key discussions will address the integration of innovative strategies to meet the evolving demands for secure, affordable and sustainable energy supply.
