Todd Green is a Production Engineering Technical Advisor with Saudi Aramco. A graduate from Texas Tech University, Todd entered the petroleum industry with BJ Services in 2006 as a field engineer in the Permian Basin Field of Texas, USA. During these two years of field work, he personally attended over 200 coiled tubing field operations.
In 2008, Todd accepted an international assignment as a desk engineer with Baker Hughes supporting all coiled tubing intervention in the southern area of Saudi Arabia. Todd served in this role until 2011 when he joined Halliburton in a similar roll in Saudi Arabia.
In 2014, He joined Aramco Americas in Houston to serve as a well intervention subject matter expert on a multidisciplinary upstream technical team. In 2018, Todd transferred to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia to work for Saudi Aramco as an instructor and technical advisor for production engineering at the Upstream Professional Development Center (UPDC). In 2020, Todd promoted to supervisor of the UPDC Technical Advisory Group. This group of senior professionals is responsible for creating and delivering professional development course to all Saudi Aramco Petroleum Engineers and Geoscientists.
Todd has experience designing and implementing a variety of CT interventions that include: Foam cleanouts, High angle cleanouts, CT high rate acid stimulations, Milling with CT, fishing Operations, CT e-line logging, Velocity string design and installation, Cementing with CT, Mechanical de-scaling, Utilizing multilateral seeking tools, Nitrogen lifting, Abrasive perforating with CT, and various drilling rig assist operations. Todd has also co-authored 9 SPE papers.
Todd is an active participant in SPE. He has taught multiple SPE short courses at ICoTA and ATCE on Rigless Well Intervention. He also served as ICoTA International Chairman from 2016-2018 and most recently served as Conference Chairman for ICoTA/ SPE Annual conference March 2022.
